NOISE CONCERNS
Because of the free fall safety design, the wheels of the lift arm should come into contact with the platform
boards slightly, to place tension on the mechanism and reduce the potential problem of noise.
The level of noise emitted in most cases is directly proportional to the acoustics of the room where the bed is placed. Thus when a bed is on a hardwood floor and the massagers run, it will resonate and sound louder than anticipated. To minimize this noise, place a piece of carpet or a rubber caster cup under each caster.
(Rubber caster cups can be purchased from your local dealer.)
When the bed is operated, there will be a hum from the motor system. This is normal.
LUBRICATION
The motors are permanently lubricated. No additional lubrication will ever be required for the motors. If the bed should creak at any time, use silicone oil or WD40 on the pivot point to eliminate the creaking.
OPERATIONAL NOTE FOR MULTIPLE BED INSTALLATIONS
When more than one wireless equipped bed is in transmission range (approx. 50 radius), use only one hand control at a time. Using the hand controls simultaneously will cause them to interfere with each other, resulting in no operation from the bed.
WARNING! A note to consumers with pacemakers:
As with any product that produces a vibrating motion, it is possible that some pacemakers may interpret this motion as a false sense of movement and/or exercise. This may or may not affect your pacemaker. If you have any concerns please consult your physician.
